Anna married Jul (George) Anderson in the South Rush River Lutheran Church (now Our Savior's) on Nov 21, 1900. She was the daughter of Ole and Anne Dorthea Rasmussen of Ellsworth Township. Her parents had emigrated from Gjerpen in Telemark, Norway, with their parents and had settled in Ashippun, Wisconsin. They moved to Ellsworth in 1873 and settled on a farm two and one-half miles northeast of there. Anna and George lived for about a year with George's parents, Ole and Marit Anderson. They then purchased the adjoining farm where their three children, Orvin, Myrtle, and Stella were born. Anna and George remained on the farm until 1933. At that time they moved with Orvin and his family to St. Paul, Minnesota. Anna died April 8, 1957 in St. Paul.
