He was a son of the late Larkin Mills & Lizzie Merida Mills and born to them on March 1, 1911 in Knox County. Mr. Mills was a farmer. On Jan. 30, 1935, he united in marriage with Louisa Jones.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Warren, Kitty Broughton, Rachel Asher and Martha Mills and two brothers, Jim & Obie Mills.
Mr. Mills leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife, five daughters, Susan Knodel, Mrs Elmo (Gracie) Bowling, Mrs. Dan (Betty) Streber, Mrs. Rocky (Clara ) Hubbs, Mrs. (George) Charlotte Baker; four sons, Chester Mills and
wife Alice, Victor Mills, Clifford Mills and wife Linda, Quentin Mills and wife Penny; three sisters, Nancy Hinkle, Sally Broughton, Alta Jones; two brothers, William Mills and Cloyd Mills; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
Services were conducted 8-25-1989 at the Hopper Funeral Home. Interment was in the Obie Mills Cemetery.
