Ocala - Agnes Cornwell Barnes, born October 18, 1922 in Adamstown, Maryland, died at age 88 in her home in Hampton Manor Deerwood, in Ocala, Florida on August 26, 2011. She was married to Harold J. Barnes of North Carolina and the couple lived in Kensington, Maryland, and then in St. Petersburg and Ocala, Florida. Mrs. Barnes served several years as a Vice President and Director in the Suburban Trust bank in Chevy Chase, Maryland. She was a member of Ocala West United Methodist Church. Mrs. Barnes is survived by one sister and several nieces and nephews. A Service of Committal will be held on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Petersburg, FL with Rev. Allan Jefferson officiating.
