Mrs. Minna Huhn, 79, of R. 1, Cleveland, died this morning at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for the past six weeks.
She was born on Oct. 9, 1886, in Town of Meeme, the daughter of the late Thomas and Ernestine Wesener Fenn. On Dec. 27, 1903, she was married to William C. Huhn, of Town of Centerville.
The couple resided on the Huhn homestead ever since, celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary in 1958. Mr. Huhn died in 1963.
She was a member of St. John and St. Peter Lutheran Church, Cleveland, and a charter member of its Ladies Aid Society. She also taught Sunday School there for several years.
Survivors are one son, Arno, on the homestead farm; seven daughters, Mrs. Fred (Stella) Rust, of Newton, Mrs. Norbert (Roma) Hopf, of Howards Grove, Mrs. George (Gladys) Wilke, Mrs. Arno (Corrine) Boll, and Mrs. Roland (Verina) Roehl all of Sheboygan; Mrs. Harvey (Irene) Leonard, of Kiel, Mrs. Armond (Lucille) Klemme, of Plymouth; 26 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Otto, Robert, and Arthur Fenn, all of Sheboygan. Two infant daughters preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John and St. Peter Lutheran Church. The Rev. Gerhardt Cares will officiate and burial will be in Saxon Cemetery in the Town of Centerville.
Friends may call at Stoltenberg Funeral Chapel, Cleveland, after 3 p.m. Tuesday until 11 a.m. Wednesday, and then at the church from noon until time of service.
