ALFRED LORFELD
Alfred E. Lorfeld, 81, of 719 S. 22nd St. Sheboygan, died Saturday morning at Sheboygan following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels, Sheboygan. The Rev. George Mohr will officiate and burial will be in Saxon Cemetery, Town of Centerville.
Mr. Lorfeld was born Dec. 21, 1890, in the Town of Centerville, son of the late John and Pauline Lutze Lorfeld. He married Louise Weigand of the Town of Centerville Dec. 25, 1916. The couple resided on the
family farm in the Town of Centerville. She preceded him in death in 1959. He then married Mrs. Rose Pulaski Dec. 1, 1963. Following his retirement in 1965 the couple moved to Sheboygan. Mrs. Lorfeld preceded him in death in 1968. He was a member of the Manitowoc Senior Citizens.
Survivors include three sons, Edward of Spring Valley, Robert of Valders and Glen of Sheboygan, three daughters, Mrs. Vincent (Elaine) Seiker of rural Manitowoc, Mrs. Willard (Delores) Beuchel of rural Sheboygan and
Mrs. Elwood (Marjorie) Krueger of Sheboygan, a brother, Herbert of Cleveland, a sister, Mrs. Victor Heinz of Cleveland, 23 grandchildren and nine great granchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral chapels after 4 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to Zion United Church of Christ, Sheboygan.
