EMMA LUTZE (d. 1967)

Mrs. Richard Lutze, 82, of Cleveland, died Sunday morning at home following a year-long illness.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John-St. Peter Lutheran Church, Cleveland. The Rev. Paul Knichelbein will officiate and burial will be in Saxon Cemetery, Town of Centerville.

Mrs. Lutze, nee Emma Fiedler, was born Nov. 20, 1884, in the Town of Meeme, daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Bohne Fiedler. She was married to Richard Lutze April 11, 1909. The couple resided in the Town of Centerville and engaged in farming until retirement in 1942. They then moved to their present home at Cleveland. Mrs. Lutze was a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the church.

Survivors include her husband, a son, Roland, on the homestead; two daughters, Mrs. Emro (Anita) Lippert, of Lingsman, Ariz., and Mrs. Elroy (Helen) Klessing, of Rt. 1, Newton; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Born, of Cleveland, and Mrs. John Roethel, of Sheboygan Falls; a brother, William Fiedler, of Rt. 1, Cleveland; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Three brothers and three sisters
preceded her in death.

Friends may call at Stoltenberg Funeral Chapel, Cleveland, after 3 p.m. Tuesday until 11 a.m. Wednesday and at the church from noon until time of service.
