Jim was a devoted and loving husband, son, brother, uncle, step-father, as well as an accomplished musician, sound system expert and computer whiz. He fought a hard tough battle with cancer for 3 years with such dignity and never complained of his pain. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn; mother, Shirley; sisters, Toni and Tammy; daughter, Jennifer; son, Jimmie; step-children, Tammy and Billy; nephews, Kyle, Josh, Kent and Gerry; grandchildren, Randi, Meggie, Sam and Joe; one great-grandchild, Laney; a host of close friends and loving family.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 3, 2011. Family welcomes friends 11:30 to 1:00 pm for visitation and slide show, at Eastern Avenue Church, 836 N. Eastern, Moore, OK. Interment will follow immediately at the Cushing Fairlawn-New Zion, Cushing, OK; 3 miles north of Cushing on HWY 18. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK
