A. M. WILLIS, who resided with his family a few miles south of Beaver and who has been in feeble health for some time, passed away at his home Friday, April 12th. General debility and old age were the primary causes of the demise.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Leonard and interment made in the Beaver cemetery Saturday at three p. m.
The late Mr. WILLIS was an ex-Confederate soldier but long ago laid aside his feelings in that line and every gathering of the Old Soldiers found him mingling with the boys who wore the blue an done more patriotic than he was hard to find. HE was a good man and a good citizen and his death will be felt in the community where he resided.
The HERALD desires to extend sympathy to the bereaved ones in the loss of their husband and father.
