"Service Wednesday for Marion Adams"
Marion Adams, a resident of Checotah for 39 years, died in a Muskogee hospital early Sunday after a long illness.
He was a retired farmer and rancher and a member of the Church of Christ of Checotah, a member of the Checotah American Legion post, and a member of the Masonic lodge.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Checotah Church of Christ with Ed Sessions officiating.
Burial was in Greenlawn cemetery under direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Viola; two brothers, J.E. of Sherman, Texas and Louis Adams, Kansas City, Mo.
