Mrs. Elsa Haupt, 64, of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, died at 6:45 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she was removed shortly before her death. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. T. F. Uetzmann officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Haupt was born Ella Carstens Dec. 18, 1896, in the Town of Newton, daughter of the late John and Lisetta Ahlers Carstens. She resided in Manitowoc County all her
life and was married to Leland J. Haupt April 26, 1916. She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a daughter, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her husband preceeded her in death Dec. 9, 1957.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m. Wednesday until 11:30 a.m. Thursday and at the church after 12:30 p.m. Thursday until the hour of services.
