Florence- the funeral for William Earl Austin, 79, Route 12, will be at 1:30 pm Wednesday at Wesley Chapel Methodist Church near Cloverdale With William brewer, JD Norris, and Tom Malone officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery, Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, Tn directing.

Visitation will be from 3-10 pm today at the funeral home in Collingwood, TN
He died Sunday, March 3, 1991, at the University of Alabama Hospital, Birmingham.

He was a native of Lauderdale County carpenter and a farmer a member of Carpenters Local 109 and First Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Altha Handback Austin, Iron City, TN, Allan Austin, Bonifay, Fl., William Austin, Kelso, Washington, daughter Hilda Wilson, Lexington, Ruth Giddens, Ormand Beach, Fl., Laverne Bandorf, Harbor Oaks, Fl., brothers John Austin, Ford City, Coy Austin, Robert Austin both of Cloverdale, sisters Althea Chowing, Reba Taylor both of Florence, 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.

Bearers will be Charles Adomytz, Sammy Marks, Kenneth Austin, Robert Austin, Doyle Faulkner, Randall Austin, Kevin Austin, and Charles Taylor
Honorary bearers will be Cleveland Stover, Ed Pounders, WC Fulmer, James Hamilton, Frank Owens, Jimmy Barkley, Thomas Hayes, and Carl Lee.
