Bessie S. Templin of Ooltewah died Saturday at her home. She was 94.

Mrs. Templin was a homemaker who had lived in Ooltewah for 14 years and was a member of Ooltewah Baptist Church.

Survivors include her five daughters, Mildred McCloud, Halls, Tenn., Elaine Shelton, St. Clair Shores, Mich., Madge Lewis, Powell, Tenn., Faye Ziglar, Shalimar, Fla., and Shirley White, Fayetteville, N.C.; four sons, Charles Templin, Maryville, Tenn., Melvin Templin, Norfolk, Va., Herbert Templin, Rockford, Tenn., and Marvin Templin, Ooltewah; 28 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren; brother, William Ben Smith, Chattanooga; and two sisters, Miriam Whitfield, East Ridge, and Ruby Smith, Chattanooga.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Williams officiating.

Burial will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knoxville.

The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
