WALTER WINTER

Walter A. Winter, age 75, of 2419 State Street, New Holstein, died Thursday evening, July 7, at Calumet Homestead in New Holstein.
He was born in St. Anna, December 20, 1912, the son of the late John and Minnie Krebsbach Winter. He attended St. Anna Schools and was custodian at Holy Rosary Church for 18 years.
He was married to Irene McGowan, September 30, 1937, at St. Anna Catholic Church, New Holstein, its Holy Name Society and the New Holstein Senior Citizens.
Survivors are his wife, Irene; two sons, James of Reedsville and Wayne of New Holstein; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Judith) Urban and Mrs. Carlyis (Mary) Hillmann, both of New Holstein; four grandchildren, one brother, Joseph Winter of Fond du Lac; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Rieth of New Holstein, and Mrs. Matthew (Ernistine) Reisterer of School Hill. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Rev. Monsignor Peter Klauk, pastor officiating. Burial was at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
