Funeral for Ory Grigsby, 61 of Midland, formerly of Comanche, was held at 4 p.m. on Mon, 20 Mar 1972 in Comanche Funeral Home with Rev Leroy Woosley officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Grigsby died in the hospital at 11 p.m. on Saturday, 18 Mar 1972 after a short illness. He had lived in Midland several years and was a Baptist.
He is survived by one son, James Grigsby of Midland; his mother, Mrs. Walter Grigsby of Comanche; five sisters, Mrs. Margueriete Lumus of Corpus Christi, Mrs. Lottye Falkner of Odessa, Mrs. Marie Reith of Llano, Mrs. Virginia Adams of Comanche and Mrs. Beth Scoggins of Waco; and three grandchildren.
