Isolina Montanaro De Girolamo, 77 years old, of Alliance, Ohio, died March 2, 1976 at Alliance City Hospital following a sudden illness.

Mrs. De Girolamo, the daughter of Gerardo and Maria Santa Altieri Montanaro, was born in Faeto, Provincia di Foggia, Italy on June 24, 1898. She immigrated to Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1913. She married her husband, Giuseppe De Girolamo, on December 28, 1914 at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Bridgeport, CT. They made their home in Alliance, OH. She was a member of Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church and the Ladies of the Christopher Columbus Italian Mutual Benefit Society.

Survivors include her son Albert of the home, daughter Evelyn Brienza of Alliance, daughter Virginia (James) Fasone of Alliance, brothers Guy and Michael Montanaro of Bridgeport, CT and sister Sadie DeRiso, also of Bridgeport, CT. Mrs. De Girolamo is also survived by her nine grandchildren.

Mrs. De Girolamo was preceded in death by her husband Giuseppe in 1956, her parents, Gerardo and Maria Santa Altieri Montanaro, four children, Michael De Girolamo, Edith De Girolamo, Anthony De Girolamo and Mrs. Sadie Caiazza. Also proceeding her in death were two son in laws Frank Brienza and Nunzio Caiazza.

Funeral services will be held at at Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Alliance, Ohio.
