Faye Leonard Bulger, age 81, of Milton, FL, passed away Tuesday April 12, 2011. She was born November 10, 1929 in Florala, AL to the late Oscar Pettus and Mary Mae Boles Pettus.
Faye worked as an Executive Secretary for the District Manager for more than 25 years with Safeway Grocery Stores. Her first husband, Billy Leonard passed away in 1966 and she later moved from Texas to Florida and worked in real estate as a realtor and later as a care giver, where she met her present husband, Vernon Bulger. She was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Florala, AL.
Faye enjoyed many things in life including gardening, caring for animals and taking long walks, but her love was painting, she was a true artist and showed her talents through her oil paintings.
Besides her parents, and first husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Leonard.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon Bulger of Pensacola, FL; three sons, Thomas Leonard of Austin, TX, Ronnie (Nancy) Leonard of Round Rock, TX and Richard (Margo) Leonard of Arlington, TX; a daughter, Elizabeth Leonard of San Francisco, CA; three grandchildren, Laurel Leonard, Bonnie Manly and Amy Leonard; three sisters, Pauline Stanhagen, Betty Charlton and Bobbie Helms; and dear friend and cousin, Helen Roach and her husband Jim of Cantonment, FL.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to National Office 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
