Mrs. Grace King

Herkimer - Mrs Grace King, 81, Creek Road, Mohawk, former resident of this village for more than 50 years, died Wednesday in Herkimer Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Plymouth, England, daughter of Samuel and Jane Satterley Pinkstone. The family moved to this country when she was five years old. She was married to William King in St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Utica, in 1904. He died in 1946.

She was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church and its choir mother for the past several years. She also was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, the Spanish-American War Veterans Auxiliary, the Salvation Army Home League, and a charter member of the Senior Citizens.

She leaves three sons, Harry, with whom she resided; Elmer and William, both of Herkimer, two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Keefe, Little Falls and Mrs. Mary O'Connell, Ilion.

The funeral will be at 10 tomorrow from Christ Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Edwin J. Mosher, rector, officiating.

Calling hours at the Fenner Funeral Home, will be this afternoon and evening.
