Died at age 38 at the Junk homestead in Cleveland, Route 1. He passed away due to pneumonia. He was born on that homestead farm and married Miss Rose Krisenesky, who died February 11, 1931.
He served in the Army during World War I.
Survivors included his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Junk, one daughter, Adeline Junk, two sons, Lloyd and Earl Junk, two brothers, Joe and Henry Junk of Manitowoc, Route 6, and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Erdman of Milwaukee; Mrs. Clara Leonhard of Unity; Mrs. Rose Vande Loo of Cleveland; and Mrs. Tilly Kieferle of Milwaukee.
