ORA PETTIT DIES LAST WEDNESDAY
Ora Pettit, late of Memphis, died at his home in the east part of town Wednesday, December 14. Burial was made at Lebanon, Iowa, Thursday, December 15.
Mr. Pettit was born in Van Buren county, Iowa, in 1882. He was married to Miss Flora Wellfort in 1906 and in 1910 he and his family moved to Memphis. Mr. Pettit was for a long time employed by the Memphis Electric Light, Heat and Power Co.
He is survived by 6 brothers, 1 sister, his wife and 6 children, and his father, H. G. Pettit.—Memphis Democrat.

Mrs. Elmer Coffman and son were called to Memphis, Mo., to attend the funeral of her brother, Ora Pettit, who passed away Wednesday of last week. The body was brought to the Lebanon cemetery and laid to rest beside his mother, Mrs. Henry Pettit.
