Mrs. Harriett C. Pomeroy, prominent attorney-at-law of Palatka, attended the funeral services today in Jacksonville of her mother, Mrs. Caroline Hallowes Dancy De Saussure, who died Sunday morning in a Jacksonville hospital.
Services were held at the St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral, with Very Reverend Roger W. Blanchard officiating.
Mrs. De Saussure’s survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Pomeroy of Palatka; one son, E. I. Crossest of Jacksonville; and four sisters, Mrs. R. D. (Winifred Dancy) Drysdale of Jacksonville, Mrs. A. E. (Lina Dancy) Hampton of Brevard, N.C., Mrs. T. S. Bond, Sr., of Savannah, and Mrs. E. M. Johnson of Jacksonville. (Palatka Daily News Obituary did Monday, 28 Jul 1958.)
