Helen Maguire HINGHAM Helen (McGarry) Maguire of Hingham formerly of Brooklyn, NY and Lords Valley, PA passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Helen lived most of her life in Brooklyn, NY and then moved to Lords Valley, PA where she lived for 20 years before moving to Hingham five years ago. She was a retired high school teacher. She graduated from Hunter College in New York City in 1937. Among her interests, she enjoyed sewing and baking. She especially loved keeping in touch with her life long friends from high school, College and her friends from Linden Ponds. Beloved wife of the late Benedict Joseph Maguire. Devoted mother of Benedict Maguire and his wife Claire of Clermont, FL, Robert Maguire and his wife Kathy of Brooklyn, NY, Joseph Maguire and his wife Kathy of Tampa, FL, Maryellen Maguire-Eisen and her husband Richard of Hingham and Grace Marie Lind and her husband Bill of Bardonia, NY. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, North Weymouth at 40 Sea St., (off Rte 3-A), Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow in Saint Albert the Great Church, East Weymouth at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helens memory to Childrens Melanoma Prevention Foundation, P.O.
