Mr. Bud Chaney of Huntington, Arkansas died 09/20/2011 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was 75 years old. Mr. Chaney was a retired factory worker and an avid Mansfield Tiger fan. Mr. Chaney was born in Mississippi, yet he lived(his early years), in Lepanto, Arkansas. He loved his children and was there for their sports or band performance. In his earlier years, he was a Golden Glove boxer. He served in the Navy and later Air Force as was veteran of the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. Mr. Chaney his wife in Pennsylvania and the two were married on May 15, 1971.


Mr. Chaney was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife: Patricia Chaney; 4 precious daughters and their husbands: Juanita and Ron Sadoski, of Mansfield, Arkansas, Jackalin and Steve Williams and Wendy and Brandon James, all of Huntington, Arkansas; and Cindy and Brandon Willsey, of Mansfield, Arkansas; his wonderful grandchildren: Siera Williams, Tyler, Brennan, and Jaden James, Hunter and Fisher Willsey; 4 sisters: Sarah Jean Dickson, of Florida, Mary Ann Deeds, Joyce Nell, and Susie Argo, all of Lepanto, Arkansas; 1 brother: John Chaney, of Nashville, Tennessee; other relatives; and many, many, good friends.

Funeral service was held on Friday, 09/23/2011, at Coop Prairie Church in Mansfield, Arkansas.
Mr. Chaney was laid to rest at Coop Prairie Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Jeff Rose, Mike Burger, Tim Kulp, Tommy J. Boyd, Kyle Boyd, and Chris Boatright.
Honorary pallbearers were: his sons-in-laws and grandsons.
