Mrs. George W. Brown, 75, former Manitowoc resident, died suddenly late last night at Glendale, Ariz., where she has made her home with her daughter. Mrs. Ella Jacob, for the past five years.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Immanuel Lutheran church in Manitowoc. The body will arrive her Saturday at 3:20 p.m. and will lie in state at the home of her son, George F. Brown, 835 North Eighth street, until the time of services Monday.
Mrs. Brown, nee Mary Pleuss, was born on August 17, 1864 In Manitowoc county. She was married to George Brown in 1885 . The couple lived at Brown's Corners, named after Mr. Brown, until 8 years ago, when they sold their property. They moved to Manitowoc, where Mr. Brown died a year later.
The survivors include two sons, Edwin of Two Rivers and George of Manitowoc, and a daughter, Mrs. Jacob; and one brother. Ernest Pleuss, route 1; and three grandchildren.
