Vera Perkins Faulkner, age 87, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grand-mother and friend, passed away peacefully from causes incident to age.Born, Bedford, WY., sixth child of George Hyrum Perkins and Annie May Bowles Hardman. Married her sweetheart and best friend, October 31, 1939 in Salt Lake City and they were sealed in 1966 in the Salt Lake Temple.

She loved life, sharing her talents with others, holidays and her family, (especially her grandchildren) and was an uncomplaining and optimistic person throughout her life and her determination and work ethics were an example to all who knew her. She retired from the Salt Lake City Schools Food Services, and shared her love for cooking, baking and food with everyone she could.

She loved her Heavenly Father and was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many, various callings throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and her seven siblings. Survived by her only daughter and son-in-law, Gwen and Doyle Seeley; grandchildren, Tim (Syndee) Seeley and Suzanne (John) Norwood; great-grandchildren, Casey (Brandy) Carter, Kaitlin, Taylor and McKinzie Seeley; Alec and Emily Norwood; and great-great grandchildren, Cassi, Lee and Trent.

A special thanks to all her family, friends and caregivers who made the past three years through some difficult times, a time of love and sharing.

Services will be Friday, 11 a.m. with a viewing from 10-10:45 a.m. at the Alpine North Stake Center, 1125 E. Alpine Blvd., Alpine. Interment Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Rd, West Jordan.
