Obituary The State, Columbia, SC, 29 Nov 1917: Mrs M. C. Lorick Dead. Husband and Eight Children Survive Her. Mrs. Cummings Lorick, wife of M. C. Lorick, quietly passed away last Tuesday evening at 11 o'clock at her home one Broad River Road, following a year's serious illness. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 today at the Union Chapel Church, the Rev. C. A. Fried officiating. Mrs. Lorick was about 45 years old and is survived by her husband and either children, five daughters and three sons. She was a regular member of the Irmo Church where the interment will take place.
