Mrs. Bouknight was born in Lexington County, a daughter of the late Melton C. and Mary Cummings Lorick. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Reformation.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Harold W. and Joe T. Bouknight, Jr. of Columbia; a daughter, Mrs. Grace Edelmann of Columbia; and three sisters, Mrs. Eula Motley, and Mrs. Kathleen Goff of Columbia, and Mrs. Louise Fetz of Deerfield Beach, Fla.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. in Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Stafford L. Swing. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Harold J. Price, Harry J. Braun, Albert D. Raines, Charlton Motley, Caldwell Motley, and George Carmona.
