She was from Jersey City also. He worked for a tool and die maker there. Elmer was married once before. Darlene was raised by Helena, but she is a Johnson and later we adopted her. She was related somehow, and Darlene's mother couldn't take care of her. Helene had an apartment on 98 Jackson Avenue and I moved in. ..."
