She was born in Manitowoc county on March 5, 1868, and it was there her marriage to Henry Junk was performed. The couple lived in that vicinity for the greater part of their lives. He preceded her in death in October, 1948.
For the past two years Mrs. Junk had been making her home with a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Erdmann, West Allis.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph and Henry; four daughters, Mrs. Herman (Marie) Erdmann, Mrs. Clara Leonhard, Mrs. Rose Vandeloo, and Mrs. Tillie Kieferle; 42 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Wendel's Catholic church, St. Wendel. The Rev. Joseph Schaefer will officiate, and burial will be made in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Ewald-Nennig Funeral home, St. Wendel, from Tuesday evening until time of services. The St. Ann's Sociality of St. Wendel's church, of which the deceased was a member, will conduct a vigil at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Schaefer will lead the rosary at the vigil.
