She was the daughter of the late Clarence King and Carrie Lee Wilson Williams.
Mrs. Britt was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Dar-lington, where she was involved in many different church activities. She loved to crochet in her free time and especially loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her daughters, Iris (Ricky) Johnson and Donna (Bruce) Weatherford, all of Darlington; her son, Richard L. (Starr) Britt, Jr. of Darlington; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Britt was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Britt, Sr.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home and other times at the residence of Donna and Bruce Weatherford, 1228 Syracuse Street, Darlington, South Carolina 29532.
