Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Bracken Roper, 107 Vine St. NE, who died Saturday at 7 a.m. following an illness of four years, will be today at 2 p.m. from Guntharp Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. ford McDonald conducting.
Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery with Guntharp directing.
Survivors include several cousins and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be James E. King, Murray King, Ben Holmes, Julian Harris, Sam Prestwood, and Reneau Carrell and Norman Harris.
She was the widow of W.E. Roper, and a member of the First Methodist Church where she was organist for several years.
