Horace Bennett was a member of A Company, 192nd Tank Battalion. He fought on Bataan in the Philippine Islands. He became a Prisoner of War on April 9, 1942, took part in the Bataan Death March, and spent 3 1/2 years as a Japanese POW. He was liberated by U.S. Army Rangers at Cabanatuan POW Camp.
