OCEANPORT -- John Poland Wolcott, 68, husband of Florence Michael Wolcott and superintendent of Wolf Hill farm here, died yesterday at his home on Eatontown blvd. He was born at West Long Branch, son of the late John and Mary Megill Wolcott, and also is survived by a son, John P. Wolcott, Jr., of Long Branch; two brothers, Frederick Wolcott of Deal and Howard Wolcott of West Long Branch, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Woolley funeral home, with Rev. Stimson Smalley, pastor of the Oakhurst Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood cemetery, West Long Branch.
