Myrtle Hanson Aborn, 90, died Friday, Sept. 8, 2000, in Long Beach.
Mrs. Aborn was a native of Baldwin City, Ala., and had been a resident of the Gulf Coast for 83 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Aborn; her parents, Edward and Delia Hanson; a sister, Tina Lee Hanson; and three brothers, Milford Hanson, Tom Hanson and Edward Hanson.
Survivors include a son, Billy Aborn of Long Beach; two daughters, Paula Carle of Belle Chasse, La., and Carol Savarese of Long Beach; three brothers, Lynvell Hanson, Lloyd Hanson, both of Biloxi, and Junius Hanson of Woolmarket; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Monday at Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Ave., Gulfport, with a service to follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Gardens in Gulfport.
