Daniel Carmody was born in Itasca, near Elk River. The family moved
to Blue Hill township about 1870. He and his brother, William, lived on
that farm for many years.
November 25, Dan was married to Katherine Eisenhut. They moved
into Princeton village about 1950.
Surviving Mr. Carmody are his one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Healy, of
Bemidji, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Dan Carmody was a kindly, whole-souled man. He was a sucessful
farmer and had scores of friends in the community. It was said he
possessed a grand sense of humor.
