Mrs. Elaine Rowell, 71, died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born in Oklahoma and had lived in Hot Springs for 55 years. She was a Baptist. Survivors include two sons, Harl Rowell of Hot Springs and Carl Eugene Rowell of St. Louis, Mo; 3 daughters, Neola Tucker of Hot Springs, Zelma Mahan of Pearcy and Dorothy Tomberlin of Hot Springs; one brother, Gilbert Kea of Hot Springs; one sister, Dovie Johnson of Lonsdale; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Services will be Tuesday at 1 pm in Gross Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Charles Cozart officiating. Pallbearers will be Mickey Mahan, Rickey Mahan, Charles Parker, Haskell McCulley, Don Kea and W.A. Raley. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Jack King, Doyle Rowell, Calving Roach, Grady Pitts, Lewis McCauley, and Clifton Chunn. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
