Born Casto Sendra Barrufee, he obtained success in comedic roles, such as in the films "Plácido" with the lead role in 1961, "Atraco a Las Tres" in 1962, "07 Con el Dos Delante" in 1965, "Pasodoble" in 1988, "Amanece Que no es Poco" in 1988 and "Amo tu Cama Rica" 1991. In 1991 his career was halted as he had became ill with a digestive problem. Eventually, he was admitted to the hospital for surgery and dying a month later. Throughout his career, he had released recordings of his work. In 1973 his received the Mustache of Honor from La Garriga.
