"Fred Ritter, well known in the Helvetia district and a son of John Ritter, died suddenly last Thursday while at work at the Montgomery Bros. camp, death being caused by heart dilation and acute appendicitis. He was 39 years old and unmarried. The remains were taken in charge by G. J. Limber and the funeral held Sunday at 2o'clock from the Helvetia church."
