Peggy Hottinger, 86, of Ola, AR, died Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, AR. The daughter of Jess and Lula McClain Hottinger, she was born December 4, 1924 in Dover, Ar.

She was a Teacher at the Ft. Smith and Ola School districts for 40 years. After she was retired from teaching full time she still utilized her knowledge for education as a substitute teacher. Peggy was a member of the Retired Teachers Association. She was also a member of the Ola Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother and sister-in-law Charley and Vanna Hottinger.

She is survived her Niece Mandy Buford & husband Ray of Ola; her Nephew Jeff Hottinger & wife Kim of Ozark; six great nieces; one great nephew; two great-great nieces; and one great-great nephew.

Funeral will be at 11:00AM, Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Ola Church of Christ. Brother Alex Diestelcamp will officiate.

Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, on Tuesday, at the church.
