THREE OAKS - Albert Hoskins, 84, passed away on Saturday. He is survived by a son, Brian (Windy) Hoskins; daughters, Sharon Lee (Fred) LaLone, Karon Ann (Jerry) Lunog and Suzanne Marie Truhn; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, June Marie Hoskin, on May 15, 2003. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the New Troy American Legion. Burial will be at Weesaw Township Cemetery, Weesaw, MI. Arrangements were handled by Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan."

"Albert Hoskins

THREE OAKS - Albert Hoskins, 84, of Three Oaks died of natural causes at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at Jordan's Nursing Home, Bridgman.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the New Troy American Legion. Burial will take place at a later date in Weesaw Township Cemetery.

Mr. Hoskins was born March 7, 1927, in Spencer County, Ind., and was a life-long area resident. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of New Troy American Legion. He retired from Whirlpool Corp.

He was preceded in death by his wife, June Marie Hoskins, on May 15, 2003. They were married on July 14, 1945, in Three Oaks.

Survivors include a son, Brian (Windy) Hoskins of LaPorte, Ind.; daughters, Sharon Lee (Fred) LaLone of Buchanan, Karon Ann (Jerry) Lunog of Galien and Suzanne Marie Truhn of Newaygo, Mich.; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren."
