Robert Vaughn Alford Jr., of Kingsland, died Thursday, May 24, 2007 at the V.A. Hospice Unit in Lake City, Fla.
Alford was born Feb. 27, 1926 in Brunswick County, N.C. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sisters, Alma (Jim) Larsen, of Burlington, Wash., Doris Crosslen, of Brunswick, and Irene Weller, of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; two nephews, Earl (June) Brazell, of Brunswick, and Robert (Mary) Larsen; four nieces, Janice (Geoff) Yates, Julie Ann Steffens, Rita Wilder and Teresa (Skip) Davis; and 18 great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at First Baptist Church of Kingsland….
