Mrs. Annie Della Rountree Galbreath, age 81, Rt. 2 Box 291, Vidalia, Ga., died at her residence Sunday, October 16, 1993, after a brief illness.

She was retired from Lyons Manufacturing Co., and was a native of Wheeler County Ga., but had resided most of her life in Montgomery County. She was a daughter of the late George M. Rountree and Lela Maude Blount Rountree, and was a member of New Corinth Baptist Church.

Mrs. Galbreath is survived by her husband, Lloyd Galbreath, Vidalia; three daughters, Geraldine Halligan Galbreath, Vidalia, Mrs. Ida Maude Viar, Savannah, and Mrs. Brenda Williford, Warner Robins; two sons, Earnest Galbreath, Vidalia and Colon Galbreath, Santa Claus; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Bell Morris, Vidalia, Mrs. Geneva Harris, Florida, and Mrs. Isla Farmer, Lyons; 23 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, October 18, 1993 at 2:00 p.m. from Murchison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Corley officiating. Interment was in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers were James Halligan, Danny Butterworth, Mike Galbreath, Bobby Sapp, Chris Galbreath and Leon Faircloth. Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Sowell, Philip Morris, Wayne Douberly, Wayne Morris, Delmos Brown and Clarance Sanders. Murchison Funeral Home of Vidalia was in charge of arrangements.
