CONRAD STOCK DIES SATURDAY -Former Centerville Farmer To Be Buried Wednesday
Conrad Stock, 74, Town of Newton, died Saturday at the Holy Family hospital. Death followed an illness of some months which resulted from an accident suffered on Sept. 29, when Mr. Stock fell under a corn binder while working on his farm.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 from the home of his son Walter at Newton and at 2 o’clock from the Reform church at Centerville, the Rev. Walter Froneberg officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
The deceased was born Dec. 25, 1859 in Centerville. He lived in that township all of his life as a farmer. On June 28, 1882 he married Sophie Stockmeyer who preceded him in death.
Survivors are: four sons, Arthur of Manitowoc, William of Sheboygan, and Adolph and Walter of Newton and four daughters, Mrs. Otto Bruckschen of Newton, Mrs. William Schunk, Mrs. John Stefancic and Mrs. Nick Elsert, of Sheboygan; a brother, Christian of Newton; a sister, Charlotte Stock of Centerville; and 16 grandchildren.
The body was removed to the home of Walter Stock in Newton from the Leschke funeral home this afternoon.
