Funeral services for Gustav W. Stock Sr., 60, of the town of Newton, who died Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient six days, where held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church, Newton, with the Rev. K. J. Stuebbe officiating. Burial was in St. John Cemetery, Newton.

Pallbearers were Norman Stuckmann, Ervin Bruckschen, Edward Treick, Raymond Goeke, Fred Radder and Clarence Reichwald.

During the services Mrs. Robert George and Miss Ethel Bruckschen sang, "Asleep in Jesus" and "Nearer My God to Thee". Mrs. Robert Horn was organ accompanist.

Mr. Stock was born in the town of Newton, July 14, 1898, son of the late Simon and Caroline Stockmeier Stock and always resided in the township. He married Elsie Rosso, Feb. 24, 1923, and before his illness was employed by the A. H. Stock Mfg. Co., Newton.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Erwin Hochkammer and Mrs. George Lenz of R. 3, Manitowoc; a son, Gustav Jr.; a sister, Miss Alma Stock, of R. 1 Newton, and seven grandchildren.
