Funeral services for Miss Lena Stock, 56, of Route 1, Newton, who died suddenly at her home Saturday evening, were held at the Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church, Newton, at 2 p.m., Tuesday.

The Rev. K. J. Stuebbe officiated, and burial was made in the St. John Cemetery, Centerville.

During the services Paul Grosshuesch, William Hochkammer, Wilbur Dill, Elroy Bruckschen and Carl Stockmeier sang "Nearer, My God, to Thee" and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus". They were accompanied by Mrs. Robert Horn.

Pallbearers were: George Lenz, Erwin Hochkammer, Raymond Goeke, Edward Treick, Fred Radder and Clarence Reichwaldt.

Miss Stock was born on the homestead farm in Newton August 17, 1895, and had lived there her entire life.

Survivors include: a brother, Gustav Stock, Newton; three sisters, Miss Alma at home, Mrs. Emil Rodewald and Mrs. Otto Stockmann, both of Newton.

Relatives and friends attended the servics from Abbotsford, Sheboygan, Manitowoc and Newton.
