Co. A, 47th Regiment Ga. Inf. as 2d Lieutenant May 12, 1862.
Detailed Enrolling Officer November 1862. Elected Captain January
8,1863. Roll for February 28,1863, last on file, shows him present.

Apparently, when the cemetery was surveyed, the survey overlapped lots.

Listed in this lot are Georgia Ann White, Chris H. Connor, Mary Quigley Connor, Byron Connor, & Mrs. White.

Family plot with entry marker "CONNOR." One marble headstone for the Connors, mother & father. One obelisk is signed, "WALKER." On east side of obelisk base is inscribed: "A life which is pure as the roses and breathing on incense sublime/In the shadow of death but reposes till fulfilled the mission of time." One large pine tree between lots 90 & 92.
