Published in the Kansas City Star newspaper, Nov. 27, 1962: Leon Landrith, 2311 East Meyer Blvd., died today at his home. Mr. Landrith was born in Kansas and had lived here 26 years. He was a member of the United Federation of Postal Clerks. Mr. Landrith leaves his wife, Mrs. Eva Landrith, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Jean Beets, 5114 Fuller, Independence, Mo.; a son, Ira Clayton Landrith, 1209 E. Gregory Blvd., Kansas City; a step-daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Scowcroft, Needham, Mass.; two step-sons, Elmer Pargen, Fort Scott, Kans., and Loren Pargen, 8325 Blue Ridge Blvd., and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Thursday at the Newcomer chapel, Brush Creek and the Paseo; burial in Floral Hills cemetery.
