Elisha Jones, 90 died at his home near Flat Creek in Campbell County Virginia,yesterday afternoon at the 2 o'clock hour. He was a veteran of the War Between the States, serving in the Confederate army for four years. He was a member of the White"s Church for forty years. His wife ,who was Catherine McDonald Wynn, died eleven years ago.
Mr. Jones is survived by the following childern;Miss Alice Jones of Campbell County, Mrs. J.E. Thomas and Mrs. W.W.Thomas of Lynchburg,Va., Mrs. Juddie Lee Wynn of Nathalie,Va.,brothers J.O. Jones of Campbell County,Charles H. Jones and J.L. Jones of Lynchburg,Va.He is also survived by 31 grandchildern, and by ten great-grandchildern.
