Jimmy W. Pritchett, 69, a resident of Cleveland, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 1999, in a local hospital.

He was of the Baptist faith, a well-known plumber and farmer, a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean Conflict, a member of the American Legion Post No. 81, and member of the Charleston Masonic Lodge No. 484 for 25 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Bertha Myers Pritchett, and one niece, Brenda Higgins Cofer.
Surviving are his wife, Earline Pritchett of Cleveland; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Roger J. Pritchett, Miles T. Pritchett and his wife Betsey Pritchett, all of Cleveland; one daughter, Teresa K. Pritchett of Cleveland; one sister Mary Frances Higgins of Cleveland; two brothers, Roy and Ralph Pritchett of Cleveland; special friends, Randy and Pat Morton, Dale Hewitt and family, and David Higgins and family; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Snyder and the Rev. Fred Reid Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the Cohulla Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors. Pallbersres will be Travis Pritchett, Todd Pritchett, Frank Pritchett, Mike Pritchett, Scott Pritchett, Randal Pritchett, Randy Morton, James Bebo Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Raper, Ken Suits, Harold Tilley, Dean Tilley, Steve Hilliard, Bill Smith, Larry Sampleas, Robbie Shafer and Roy Catlett.

The family will recieve friends from 3 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
