Peter "Pete" Adams, 78, of 352 Breakiron Road, Connellsville, died Sunday, May 12, 2002, in Eicher's Personal Care Home. He was born Aug. 14, 1923, in Connellsville, the son of the late George and Goldie Nicklow Adams. He was a retired employee of the Independent Mining Co.
He is survived by two sons, George Adams of Connellsville and Vincent Adams of Kentucky; and two grandchildren. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Ranker Adams in 1991; two brothers, Woodrow and Wilber; and a sister, Kathleen Hodge.
Friends are being received in the RICHARD KUCERA FUNERAL HOME, 127 E. Fairview Ave., Connellsville, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be in the funeral home, Thursday, May 16, 2002, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Joseph Wingrove of the Breakneck Church of God. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
