Funeral services for Albert Goeke, 76, of Rt. 1, Newton, kill Monday in an auto accident on County Highway X in the Town of Meeme, Manitowoc County, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church, Town of Newton. The Rev. Norman Hoeflinger will officiate and burial will be in the St. John Cemetery, Centerville.
Mr. Goeke was born Aug. 14, 1892, in the Town of Newton, son of the late Frederich and Wilhelmina Krueger Goeke, and married Lina Wicke April 23, 1921.
The couple established its residence in the Town of Newton and engaged in farming.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Raymond and Allen, of Newton; three daughters, Mrs. Norman (Linda) Stuckman of Newton, Mrs. Marvin (Bernice) Sommer of Rt. 1, Sheboygan, and Mrs. Walter (LaVerne) Meinnert of Howards Grove-Millersville; 19 grandchildren and a great grandchild. A brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Stoltenberg Funeral Chapel, Cleveland after 3 p.m. Wednesday until 11 a.m. Thursday and at the church until time of services.
